No permission to private message others

Hi, I'm trying to pm a mod (Stephanie) but I'm not given the option to do so, does anyone know why? Thanks in advance.

I keep getting the error message "You do not have permission to view this page or perform this action."

Lol why should a user be able to dm a mod? Thats what the forum/board is for. Imagine walking into a grocery store and being upset ur cookies are out of stock. Do you expect to be able to directly call the distributor about it?

Because it says in pinned that all refund requests should be held in dms?
