If you're using an actual Windows OS, it should work. Unless you are using a virtual machine that uses Windows. Then it wont work.

Download the client 32 or 64 on main page and create a new folder and place it in there . Download required files https://hake.me/forums/threads/required-files.7/ . Start the installer for Hake and wait it open. Then login on Hake and steam and start Dota only via Hake. When dota open search for a game right away. If you get VAC message close dota and open hake and do again . Gotta search quickly
